I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP 408974). I am also a UKCP psychotherapist in advanced clinical training (UKCP membership number 2011183778).
As well as working in private practice, I have worked as a psychotherapist in training both in the hospice movement and in general practice at a low-cost counselling service in Exeter.
Before beginning to train as a psychotherapist, I initially worked as a solicitor in London and subsequently taught for many years in both state and independent schools across the UK. I have also worked in a large German engineering company and in a tiny French charcuterie business. I am married with two grown-up children.
For me, whatever my job, it’s always been about the people.
